I was browsing the net and ran across a Czech maker of armor and blades named Helmut Vajc.

Has anyone out there bought anything from him, and can you pass on what you know of the quality of his work?

I have never heard of this maker until I saw your post, but looking at the pictures some very disturbing irregularities are obvious.

I only looked at the daggers, and I quickly lost interest due to the apparent low quality (I said apparent)!!!!
I would like to hear some first hand observations.

I was looking primarily at the armor pieces rather than the blades - the edged items generally look very simple and appear to be priced accordingly.
