Anyone know any links to swords of those types? I've been a bit obsessed with Oakeshott's Typology of late, but there are a couple of holes I need to fill in.

Oakeshott's typology is covered in our Spotlight series and in our article on Ewart Oakeshott. The problem is that Oakeshott's type XVIII has changed quite a bit over the years. The typology as it appears in his later work, Records of the Medieval Sword, only includes Types XVIII and XVIIIa (which is different from an earlier Type XVIIIa definition). The Sword in the Age of Chivalry has the more comprehensive look at Type XVIII and the subtypes, but doesn't have what evidently became the final version of Type XVIIIa in Records. My advice would be to get Sword in the Age of Chivalry.
