I'll let pictures do most of the talking. The leather coverings over the scabbard cores are tight and well-fitting. The wire wraps you can see are also tight--not a bit of slack in them. The stitches up the backside do wander a tiny bit from side to side, but that's in back where they can't be seen and I see no problem with that.
At first I thought Russ had misplaced the holes for the belt because they just didn't work for me. Then I realized someone living in Alabama wouldn't take into account North Dakota winters. I was in the garage since with the work lights that was where I'd get the best lighting for pictures. I had been blowing snow before I went to the post office and besides a set of regular clothes I was still wearing insulated coveralls and a heavy coat. Once I took the coat off the belt worked just fine.
For a good scabbard at a good price, I recommend Russ and Tritonworks. I'm already on his list for more scabbards.
