We have finally completed the English version of our site:
http://www.isentosamballerer.de/en/
Sadly we couldn't translate our library. You may try BabelFish, but I don't recommend it. The translations are simply hilarious, at best.
Some of you may already know the site and what it is all about.
For several years we have been trying to keep historic craftsmanship alive; for the last two years in the open air museum of Molfsee.
Our main occupation lies in old forging techniques, which includes of course the reproduction of various kinds of weapons.
Everything in our forge is done manually, no electric tools are used in the production process. Because of this, we don't produce series of objects, everything is custom made.
Any questions you might have, which might not be answered by the site itself, I will gladly answer here or per e-mail. Be patient with me if you use the private message system; I tend to overlook it.
In the future, I will use this thread to show weapons which are produced by our company and stand out from our normal catalogue.
Greetings from Kiel, Germany

You've got some really neat stuff there, Arne. I like the 15th century pouch on the leather goods page. I also thought your incindiary arrow head was fascinating. The design makes sense to me, but is there an historical example that you based it on, or was it something that a customer asked for?

That particular arrowhead was done by my colleague. For the next two weeks he is at a conference, but I will ask him if he used a specific source for it.
I think four straight metal stripes are more common for forming the cage, instead of two twisted ones.
