Saber information sources?
I'm sure somebody knows of some source sfor good information regarding these swords and their use. I have not been previously interested in them, but my curiosity has been stirred and I want to learn a bit more. If you know of good resources, electronic or written, please share them.

Thanks to all who respond in advance.
Hi Joe,

There are many out there. But what era are you most interested in? As for the use, I'm a big fan of Alfred Hutton. May I recommend Cold Steel: A practical treatise on the Sabre; Based on the old the old English backsword play of the 18th century combined with the method of the modern Italian school. Published in 1889. All of Hutton's books are fascinating reads. I was able to obtain a copy from Jared Kirby at his site. I then took it to my local Kinkos and had it bound.

Oh, I forgot it can also be found online, along with Henry Angelo's sabre manual on ARMA's webpage.

Thanks.

Don't really haveit narrowed down to an era at this point. Its just a type of sword I never found interesting before. However, curiosity engaged, I wish to learn more. Just looking for the very basics right now.
