Since I posted Persian wootz blade and also Ottoman twisted star (pattern welded), I think it is time to post pics of a marvellous Indian tulwar with a beautiful pattern-welded blade. It is good to see an Indian pattern welded blade here to see the differenve.
The blade is really heavy and in spite of its weight, has an excellent balance with a visible yelman, much in the tradition of early and late Ottoman Kilics.
The patter was really marvellous and the swords is really meant for business in spite of its perfect beauty.
This is the second Indian saber with a native blade of mechanical damascus with the imitated European Genovese double sickle marks.
