My brother-in-law was up the other weekend and brought the French naval cutlass that was given to him by his father-in-law. I searched the forums and albums and couldn't find any pictures of one of these, so I thought you might enjoy a few pictures. I apologize for the lighting; the weather wasn't conducive to good natural light. I also had to rush these a bit as well. When we get down to DC to visit, I'll try to get some better pics.
All the best,
Mark

I second that.
Lovely.
That looks very similar, but different, from the US naval cutlass.
Very cool. Being a pirate at heart, I have always had a soft spot for cutlasses. :)
