Hmmm.... It sure looks familiar. But I just can't place it properly. Are there any stamps or maker's marks on the blade or hilt?

There are no stamps on the sword.
I'm asking because the blade are on sale here in Denmark and theres only the 2 pics of the sword.
So I was hoping that somebody could help me find the blade on the net and the price...
Best regards

The hilt looks very 16th century but it doesn't really fit into Oakshot's typology. However that doesn't mean much because lots of swords from that time period didn't fit into a type. It has sort of an XVIIIe look except the ricasso is as wide as the blade. That info doesn't really help you though since you are looking for a maker and price reference. I think I have seen something like that from Museum Replicas Limited but I can't remember. I will do some looking around and get back to you.

I realize this is a ridiculously old response, and in fact I only happened upon this thread because I'm searching for XVIIIe-related stuff, BUT! I used to own one of these several years ago. I believe it was by Darksword Armory. Fun fact, the blade was twisted :p
