So I ran across this banner in a television show(Highlander the series) and wondered if this was a found piece/real event or if it was made by the prop department. Is anyone aware if this banner event (A Swordsmiths Art, Masterworks of the Forge) was a real event? It would have been early to mid 90s.

Ah, sorry, misunderstood you to be looking for a banner (i.e. flag) used in a TV show. Google searching on the exhibition title gives no hits. An advertising banner like this could have been put together in a couple of hours by any number of local ad designers, so the possibility of a prop seems high.
