Is anybody here aware of which kind of European javelin has the best documentation for its weight, dimensions, etc? Can be from primary historical sources or from preserved artifacts or archaeological finds. And I'm looking specifically for ones where both the shaft and the head were described in the source or have been found together in a manner that leaves little doubt about their association. Thanks in advance,
