I am researching the japanese Armourer Ichiro Fukutake, Ichiro died some years ago but although starting to make Kabuto and Menpo/Somen late in life he is regarded highly and even has coments by Sasama as to the quality of his Uchidashi work.
I have placed a number of pictures of two Somen in the Albums but as a newcomer to this format I am not too sure how this will go.
Although I live near and am friends with one of Europes foremost experts on Japanese Armour, we can find little on Ichiro Fukutake, my attempts abroad have drawn just one source in France that has enlightened us to a good degree, but any information would be great.[/img]
