Just finished putting it up online.
"The Lost Battle Sword of King Charles the 1st."
It gets no better... and God willing we will have it here and on display
together with the related "Oxford Sword." Sometime in the next 18 months.
In the meantime, enjoy the photos, and wonder just what the backstory of
that sword could be... maybe one day we will find out.
Not many Royal swords about....
I't's been a pleasure to photograph it, but I've been on the go now for
days... and I'm off for a Whisky...

Thanks Brian, great read that. Never imagined Charles to be the mortuary/broadsword type, always pictured him as a more decorative/English style rapier man.
