Hi,
I'm collecting information about late medieval to renaissance (that's 1350-1550) re-enactment events in mainland Europe (not sure they are all held this year). Can anybody add an event to the list and whether they are held this year and what is it like if you have been there (invitation only, scripted battle or not, good market etc.):

Gotland Sweden: Battle of Visby 1361 (4th to 11th of August 2019):

I've been here although I had a pretty severe flu at the time. They script re-enact the battles of Visby and Mästerby. There was a very nice re-enactment camp, a joust and a big market (with a lot of D&D and LOTR types running around the market in the old walled city with elf ears and foam swords). Big market though and Gotland is worth visiting just for the old city of Visby, the walls, the monoliths and the local museum. They have a 90 Kg silver hoard there that was found by a metal detectorist while he was demonstrating his detector for a TV crew. Some people have all the luck I suppose.

Belgium: De Quaeye Werelt, target period ~1477 (1th to 2nd of Juni 2019):

Italy: Battle of Castagnaro 1387
