I've been experimenting with various software solutions for stitching together photos of my antiques in order to be able to more effectively share them. Here's a sample of what I've managed to get done so far.
(composite photo) - Extremely high resolution, zoom in and enjoy.

(Photogrammetry)
The photogrammetry is definitely a work in progress, as I'm using free student versions of software due to financial constraints, which limit me to 100 images per object, and 8k maximum image width.

The benefit of photogrammetry is twofold, not only does the software produce a 3d model of the object, it also eliminates reflections and preserves detail better, once you get the lighting right. You'll not that halfway down the blade theres an issue with the image processing of the spine, causing a wavy appearance, due to reflection from my lighting.
