Hello, I’m currently helping my friend plan his re-enactment kit for either a 14th century Golden Horde or a 14th century eastern Rus warrior, but it’s been very difficult finding reliable sources on armour of that specific time and location. I was wondering if anyone here had any sources on that armour like effigies, manuscripts or archeological finds. I’ve seen a lot of people who have armour that is supposedly 14th century Golden Horde but I don’t know if they’re accurate or based on contemporary sources.
