Reproduction ? Something just doesn't seem "right" for it being a genuine sword of the period it purports to be ?

I'm not very familiar with that style, but I'm afraid it looks like a fake, to me. The green bronze parts combined with the active orange rust on the blade is a big red flag. Plus the shape of the guard looks *highly* unusual, and the "pattern welding" is a tight spiral that looks like it was forged from steel cable.
Too bad they "aged" it--wouldn't be a bad fantasy piece if it were polished up.

Fake I think as well. The pommel casting looks reminiscent of poorly made fake Spanish briquets from the 1940s.
Besides the other points raised, notice that the fuller starts a short distance below the cross guard. This is much more common on fake swords than on real swords. This sword is definitely fake.
