Gotland style spear - FOR SALE
Making this spear took me a bit longer, but the result is worth the time and effort!
It is made of 7 billets:
- 6 damascus billets
- rought iron core and socket
Length: 547 mm
Weight: 771 g

Is there a historical example or inspiration for the sheath? I can't recall seeing such before.

That's a beautiful looking spear head :) May I ask a question ? The ? sheath/scabbard ? you made for it looks extremely practical- but is there any archealogical or historical evidence for them ? Especially brass bound ones..almost like some saex sheaths ?
