I am looking for a source for 15th century halberds to use in our re -enactment group. I've looked over the web at several sites and the best I've found so far are from Lutel. Have looked at Cas Iberia, Depeeka, Age of Chivalry, Chris Poor and Arms and Armor CZ.
Are there any others out there? Help would be appreciated.

Hey Bill,
What about Anselm? $150 for the head, (don't get oak shafts, use ash) and they are relatively local for you.

I've had luck with Lutel. Plus, if you want a specific varient of halberd, you can send them a pattern & they'll do it.

Thanks Jeff,
I didn't know that Luther made pole weapons, I've alway thought of him as strictly an armour source having bought a nice pair of Milanese mitten gauntlets from him. Since he is so close to us I'll contact him. As far al Lutel goes, I was looking at 200017 and 20019 in their line up. What do you think?
BTW. Our new group is "Circa 1470". The same high standards of authenticity still apply as with the old group. If you are ever out here on business during an event time frame you are welcome to play with us. I know that your standards mirror ours.

Who is Luther? Anshelm used to be run by a guy named Brent Junkins. Is Luther a SCA name or something?

Apparently so, from the website link above "This is the web site for the products made by Brent Junkins (known in the SCA as Master Luther Anshelm, KSCA). "
Luther and Brent are one and the same. He was first introduced to me as Luther and for some reason I can never remember his real name off the cuff and have to look it up every time..
