A definitive DBK scabbard built & designed to not only complement the sword, but also to explore some artistic idea's I wanted to get out of my head, and onto some leather. Using elements of color to individual parts of the scabbard design, I wanted to create some uniqueness that I previously haven't been able to implement yet. Using researched medieval art as inspiration, I came up with a design that allowed me to try some new ideas, but also create a scabbard that stood out among others, with a historic and noble look.
This scabbard features a 2.5-point suspension harness, currently left unfinished (scabbard straps only, no belt). The leather is the highest quality oak tanned leather available, with a beautiful finish that will make a statement in any collection.
The poplar wood core is wool lined with a precision fit to the Earl & Regent, and lacquered for protection from moisture, and help stabilize adjustment due to altitude & humidity.
$1,195 - Please note, this is a sale for a scabbard only. Not a sword.

That's a beautiful scabbard Brian, I love the colors and design. Just great tooling.
If I had an earl or regent to fit it I would have certainly tried to buy the scabbard! It looks great.
