Hello everyone, so I've been looking for axes and came across a website called Wulflund that had a hand-made Gallowglass battle axe! First thought: HOLY SHEET! I NEED THAT! Second thought: but wait, is it real??? And I looked through and they have just about EVERY weapon I could want that isn't completely custom. So I have this question for the community: Is Wulflund legitimate? Are their weapons reliable and not cheap POS stainless steel replicas? Their standard price is around $200+ which is reasonably good but I'm still unsure.

I have wondered the same too, I'm interested to see any replies.
I bought a viking axe and spear from them about 12 months ago. Nothing wrong with the quality and the price was great too. There was a long wait for shipping without any apparent reason, but apart from that I was happy. English is a second language for them, so there was some minor communication issues but we got there in the end.

Well alright, that's good to know! Thanks! :D And I think the reason communication and shipping was an issue is because they're based out of the Czech Republic, just read that on their website.
I bought a flanged mace from them last year. Communication was good, they said that they were in the middle of a christmas rush at the time, so apologized in advance that it would take about six to eight weeks to make my mace. As they don't have much in stock, most things are made to order, I thought this was an acceptable time to wait. When the mace was ready they contacted me with a message stating that my item was ready to be shipped and would be handed over to the postal service the next day. The mace arrived about a week later. A few days later I was contacted by Wulflund again, just to ask if the mace had arrived and was I satisfied with it.
So all in all, a good buying experience.

Bought a spear head and butt cap along with draw string pouch from them, though there are some mis-communicate between us and they forgot to write the address in. But otherwise, they are trustworthy
From what I understand, they are a re-seller of small makers' pieces. Somewhat of a consignment dealer would be the way we understand it in the States. I could be wrong upon this. However, they have a generally decent reputation thus far and I don't think there would be major issues with them. But of course kindly share how your interaction went with them, for better or worse :)
They have a number of nice looking helmets, I've been thinking of getting one their spangenhelms.
I have purchased two swords from them over the last two years. Shipping wasn't cheap but other than that, no problems. As stated earlier, quality is variable since they supply items from various makers. The two swords I received are well made considering the price.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I'm going to order the Gallo-axe and maybe a bronze sword. If anyone is interested I'll post a review when they arrive.
Very interested, thanks!
Their stuff looks to be on par with GDFB. Is this assumption corrrect?
I bought a sax from them earlier this year, did a small review of it on this site. Ordering experience went well, delivery timely, although blade was made to order. Quality was above what might be expected for the relatively modest price. I will buy from them again.
