Help finding image.
My wife has recently expressed interest in learning both longsword and sword an buckler. She asked if there were any period images, 14th or 15th century, of women using either weapon. I've searched manuscripts and miniatures but I'm underwhelmed by what I've been able to find there. I remember seeing a few images on the forums but I'm currently coming up empty on my search. The specific image that I remember seeing showed a woman armored above the waist and wearing a long skirt. If I recall correctly she was in front of a walled city.

Any help finding this or any other images would be greatly appreciated.
The earliest known manual of sword and buckler fencing, the I:33 is also known as the Walpurgis manual, since one of the students is a woman, named Walpurgis.
:-)

So women were part of the game from the very beginning ;-)
