Hello everyone!
I'm very busy, that's why I haven't been writing here for a long time about new projects. But I wanted to share with you one thing. :)
At the end of September 2013 we opened a separate online shop. My main web site needs a total rebuilding, so we decided that a separate shop would be the quickest and easiest options.
The address is : www.thorkilshop.com
And you can find there:
- handmade replicas of Viking jewelry, including some spectacular Viking bracelets, tortoise (oval) brooches etc.
- some Vendel period jewelry pieces (and more to come)
- pattern-welded (damascus) blades
- pattern-welded (damascus) Thor's hammers and Axe of Perun pendants
- woven Viking necklaces and bracelets
and other interesting pieces.
The plan is to make this list much longer. :)
Everything is in high quality and of course handmade by me and my wife.
It would be a great pleasure for us, if you take a moment and visit us in our new place in the web. :) We would love t read comments (or suggestions) about our new web site and new products. :)
Thanks,
Greg (Thorkil) and Gracjana.
Here are some photos of pieces mentioned above. Some photos are in attachments, some are posted directly in the post.

Very nice, I think I might have to get me one of those Thor's hammers!

Thank you, Neal!
I'm afraid all Thor's hammer are sold now, there is one Axe of Perun, but there should be some more soon.
We can write here on forum, when we add some of these pendants.
Or you can like our Facebook page - we post there all news about the shop.

Are you stil in forging armour as you exhibited at your old page?
Beautiful work and some very nice photographs of it as well.
Julian, yes, I'm still in forging, but my techniques makes armour very expensive, so I rather forge helmets, most of them from early periods, those very decorative pieces. This is my niche. And actually what I like the most in my work. I constantly learn new techniques and this makes the biggest fun for me.
Jewelry shop is just a small part of my work, but we're hoping to grow. This is a new field for us and quite exciting. If only day was longer than only poor 24 hours, we could add more pieces to the shop faster.
Russ, thank you! My wife takes most of the photos and she is never fully satisfied with them and constantly complains, that they don't look professionally. So thank you for this comment! :)
