That is COOL looking!
A google image search shows that photo in a couple different places.....the largest size (so perhaps the "original"?) is here:
http://xxx.xxx/2011/03/23/klinkovoe-oruzhie-evropy.html
it has a caption which google translates as Badler or Bedzheler (Fr. Badelair)- a wide, heavy saber. Also known as kordelach.

it also appears on this website: http://totenturm.rusff.ru/viewtopic.php?id=453 with an almost identical caption.

I can't read the Russian myself, so that's as much as I can contribute.

Aha! Actually, i figured it out. I'm very pleased with my internet sleuthing. On the russian website the jpeg is named "badelaire-venice-small.jpeg. A search for Badelaire gets us this different photo of the same sword at the bottom of the page here: http://de-taille-et-destoc.xooit.com/t47-La-p...?start=840

and even better, an attribution: Badelaire, début XVIIe. Origine Venise, conservé au musée de l’armée.
thank you Jesse!
And here are some additional photos of the sword in Carl Koppeschaar's giant Flickr archive....
