Surfing eBay I came across this sword and sent in a low offer no where near the $350 asking price. Well they accepted it within a min or two. Can anyone tell me the name of this Windlass sword so I can see what I got myself into?

I haven't seen that one before, but the blade looks awesome!
Wow, I'm afraid I can't help identify it either.
I do however agree with your taste, very nice. That blade mostly!
Congrats!

I think it was called the Loiten sword by Windlass/MRL. Hard to find any info on it. It was patterned off a sword find in Norway.

I agree, it was the Loiten. I almost scored one at a ren faire once, but the pommel was loose and made me double think the seller...
Well it showed up last night. I haven't take any other pictures but one of how it was shipped.
This is the worst packing job I have seen on a sword. LOL I looked at it and said out loud at the FedEx store "are you serious?'. They will get not glowing packaging feedback from me. But since then I have opened it and the sword is actually OK. The pommel though was a bit twisted. But then I found that it is a two piece pommel and the tang is threaded into the top most pommel piece. I tightened it with a few cautious taps from a rubber mallet and it is on there tight now and looks good. I will have to take more pics of it later. One thing that did strike me is that it is fairly heavy blade wise. It is not sharp yet and I am debating whether or not to give it an edge.
