Do any UK members have experience of buying swords through Ebay?

I've looked into it a bit and it seems that on ebay.co.uk you can't buy weapons, but you can to ebay.com and have them delivered to the UK.

I'm looking at a couple of items that are actually located in the UK, but I don't want to bid on them in case there's some weird Ebay legal rule that stops me purchasing them.

Any advice would be most welcome.
