Municipality Asenovgrad and Free re-enactors organize The first Medieval Fair in Asenovgrad - 2012.
Fair will recreate Bulgarian Medieval and the Middle Ages in the Balkans between 1185-1420 A.D.
Period of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom, a legend on 24 June (Midsummer Day) died Ivan Asen II.

It will be recreated everyday life, crafts, martial arts of medieval Bulgarian and Balkan peoples of the Middle Ages. You will hear medieval music, medieval food and games, you'll see real knights and soldiers from the Middle Ages. You will be able to touch and experience the Middle Ages.
