It sounds like a story from ancient times, but it happened in Reno a couple weeks ago.

Every once in while there seems to be a news story about residents defending property with a sword.

Well, I tried to track down who that might have been, as at first I thought it might have been one of my friends. On second thought though, since they all seem to have Concealed Carry Permits in Reno, the fellows I know would have just shot the guy and avoided having to chase him, or clean their sword. Still, a mighty amusing news clipping! Thanks for posting it!
