Reading another Topic thread and to not derail it here is a Topic asking about bronze alloys that seem to have included some traces of iron up to a few percentage points.
I'm curious about how common this might be and how the iron might affect the qualities of the bronze in historical weapons and if there is any research or knowledge of bronzes that might use a much higher percentages of iron or in the obverse side steel with significant amounts of copper and tin and if these would have unique and useful physical qualities ?
Asking this question before doing any searches on Google as I might find something useful there, and if I do will probably bring anything I find later.
