Does anyone know of some good books or papers about why France stayed out of the war/entered when it did for a research paper? I have access to databases like JSTOR and EBSCO if anyone knows of anything, but searching "France" and "Thirty Years War" got me nothing for ten pages in JSTOR. Looking primarily for peer reviewed research.

yes, he was fighting the French Protestant armies, persecuting the French Protestant civilians and at the same time supporting the Protestant countries just to unstabilize Spain and Austria, a funny guy... :wtf:
