I'm surprised no one mentioned falchions yet. The perfect sword for the casual zombie hunter. In the words of one of my friends when i showed him my maciejowski falchion
"I hate falchions"
"why?"
"because they let untrained people kill knights!"
"and thats a bad thing?"

I might be wrong, but i think picture 7 and 9 show the typical swedish cavalry sword of the 30yrs war 1618-48.
In fact this type is known in central europe, or at least the german speaking area, as "swedish sword".

Some questions on the hauberk (I can't quite make it out from the pic)

How old is it?

is it an integral coif?

Do I see smaller ring sizes inside the face opening? Almost looks like two seperate pieces..

Just trying to get a better understanding of how an integral coif may have been put together.

The sabres and scimitars really caught my attention. The arsenal's authorities could have unsheathed those for exhibition purposes, though.
