I know that this sword was reviewed before but i am going to try a different approach by comparing a sub $200 sword to an Historic accurate sword , in measurement and specifications. The sword I will review is the Tinker/Hawnei GSOW .
Compared to the Albion Duke and a custom Tinker XIIIa ( which the GSOW is based on)

.................................. GSOW ............................ Duke ..............................Tinker XIIIa

Weight..................... 3lb 7oz ....................... 3lb 4oz ............................... 3lb 8oz
Over all ........................47 '' ............................. 46'' ................................... 47 3/8''
Grip .......................... 9 1/4'' ............................ 7 1/4'..................................... 9''
Blade....................... 35 1/8''...............................36'' ..................................... 36''
Blade width.............. 2 3/8'' ............................2.19'' ................................... 2 1/4''
Guard width..............8 3/4'' ........................... 8 1/2'' ...................................... ??
Guard type .................. 2 ...................................1............................................ 2
Pommel type............... j....................................j.............................................. j
P.O.B.......................... 5 1/2'' ........................... 5 3/4'' .......................................6''
C.O.P......................... 21 1/2'' .........................22 1/4'' ................................ 23 3/4''
Historic accurate........ 7/10............................10/10 ......................................9/10

The GSOW is great value for someone for a project sword, I have changed the leather grip which is a must. Value for money 10/10 .Historic accurate 7/10 this is only my opinion ,If only this sword was hot penned .
