My grand father has pased away guys, he left this world at 10:00am this morning.
Please rase a glass for my Opa, Edmund. He was one of the best people i have ever had the honer of knowing.
After living 84 years to their fullest, surviving a world war, and taking no small part in rasing me during my younger years i believe he deserves a toast.
So heres to a man who always made do with what he had, And always lived each day like it was his last. The world will be a sadder place without you opa. but you left it a better place then when you entered it. may your soul rest in peace.
He was "Opa" a man of Nordic descent,
With quiet courage where-ere he went,
Thus, our glasses we raise in memory,
To honour this man, and his bravery.
Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. May he rest in peace.

Naythan: A good long life is always a comfort but the loss of a loved one is always too soon and it leaves a hole in one's heart that can't be filled, but time does dull the pain and good memories do help a bit and eventually become more present in the mind than the hurt that one feels so close to the loss.
My best wishes for you get over the most difficult parts.
I fully understand the desire to honour his life and death here among friends and I hope that our prayers and good thoughts can give you some help and relief.
All my condolences.

Cattle die, and kinsmen die,
the self must also die
one thing that never dies, is a good name.

It is said that Elmerald, the Death,
harvest the souls with the scythe,
to send them either to Heaven or Hell,
as the gods judge.
But once upon a time she confided to me
that some souls are so beautiful
that she pick them with her bare hands
for her own garden.
There they grew and bloom,
and it's know through the Mainlant
that there isn't a more luxuriant place
than the Garden of Life and Death.

A toast it is.
And He's in a better place than he was ...

After a fruitful and long life death is acceptable. I have just lost a beloved granny so I understand. What is left of them is a nice and deep recollection, their past deeds and the education they gave us won't be forgotten.
It seems he lived a full life and was well loved, what more can you ask for in this life. God speed him to his rest and bless all whom had the honor to know him. Instead of a toast I'll give him a loud cheer and say well done sir, well done. Rest well.
May his memory live long with you and others who knew him in life, and may the cups be raised to honour him.

Done: Went to supper after training longsword and polished off a bottle of Chianti. I made a point of thinking of your Opa and raised my glass to his memory and in sympathy to your pain and sorrow.
Again my condolences.
A toast in celebration of your Opa's life.
My condolences to you and yours.
My condolences to you and yours.
