I am looking for either a picture of an origional or a depiction of a schiavona scabbard in a painting etc. Your assistance is greatly appreaciated. Already tried the search mode and only found one reference to there being plenty of surviving schiavona scabbards out there... So far my search has resulted in naught.
Several schiavone are shown with scabbards in our Schiavona Photo Album including a Type 1 hilt on the first page.
The photo below shows the type of scabbard often associated with schiavone. It seems that it's found on Type 1 and Type 2 families of hilts.
