Cover it up
Hi guys! I bought a sword yesterday and to when I got home i found a marking on the blade! Anyone that have any ideas how too "cover it up"?

That looks like it is a maker's mark (albeit a simple, modern-looking one) stamped into the metal of the blade. If you just bought it over the counter and are unhappy with it, I would just take it back and get my money back rather than try to fix it yourself. Otherwise, there is no quick and easy fix.
Is the sword Roman by any chance? I ask because the mark SPQR was typically found on Imperial Roman items and basically meant it was the property of the senate and the people of Rome.

S.P.Q.R stands for Senatus Populusque Romanus "The Senate and the People of Rome". I hope it's a roman sword!
