Id like to ask if anyone could suggest me any literature or good study concerning real effectiveness of charging cavalrymans lance against plate armour.

Look at the TV series, "Weapons that made Britain". The episode of Lance has some interesting test. They are done in a military balistic laboratory so IŽll give them some credibility.
