and since my surname (Goodwin) is taken from Godwinson , that of Anglo-Saxon King Harold, find it to be
sort of important to remmeber.

I agree, a seminol date to remember. It is believed my surname (Arledge) is from the Welsh words "Auld ridge", meaning Old Hills. We can trace that to William the Conquerors Bishop after the Conquest.
