I have wanted to do this impression since I was a boy attending the English Civil War Re-enactment Society battles ( I was also a member but too young to do the adult impression ) - I'd welcome advice about best places to source uniforms - or patterns for such. Comb through the forum posts by Gordon Frye. He has extensive experience in living history of the period. He's a cavalry guy, but there would be plenty of overlap with infantry.
