I actually like these better than your others (Don't get me wrong, your others are still made of awesome and win). There is beauty in simplicity. Sorry, but I won't be buying either of them though. Just got accepted for the college of my choice and expect to be taking out some pretty hefty loans.
They're nice looking work, but I'd really like to see authentic materials used (Bloodwood is South American and Black Walnut NA I think, certainly not Scandinavian anyhow. I haven't heard of pewter being in use, or certainly not commonly, by the Norse). Still very nice display of craftsmanship.
The Bloodwood is not as far as I know authentic, however all the other materials are or could be. The vikings were in NA, and there is evidence that they worked in pewter (invented 500-2000 B.C.). My pieces are styled after the originals but not copys of them.
