I thought I would give all of you the heads up on a Scottish Walter Allen basket-hilted and another basket-hilted backsword up for auction at Lyon & Turnbull on the 8th of April, 2009. The auction estimate has been set at £15,000 - £20,000 (a relative bargin at $22095 to $29444) on the Walter Allen so it will be interesting to see what the winner gets it for. :) Enjoy!
