This is my final project from my casting class this semester. I chose to make a folding fork based off an example I saw in the book Feeding Desire from 1740. It folds and locks open. I know it's not exactly medieval or arms and armor related, but I thought it's historical basis might make it semi-appropriate.
Materials: Sterling Silver, Steel, Ebony

That is very nice indeed. I really like the detail work you did on the spine. :D
That is one of the coolest thing I have seen in a long while. Reminds me of the folding spork idea back in middle school I had hehe :) .
