This is a maker whom I've only become recently aware of:
http://www.seelenschmiede.de/
I'm particularly fond of the two 15th c. styled longswords here with rain chapes and tooled leather:

I figured Sean will appreciate those in particular, what with his recent work on his A&A Durer. :)
I also very much like this hunting hanger. It looks like a 17th century style (and the description says its in the baroque style, so that would make sense) :

The maker seems to have a very nice eye for historical pieces. I only discovered the site because of these pictures from Torsten Schneyer of the group Zornhau:

Nice find Bill. These are indeed attractive pieces.
I had the opportunity to handle ( and cut with :) ) some of Stephan's pieces at the international open championship last week.
They are excellent work, handle great and go through tatami like a hot knife through butter.
Unfortunately they are more than a little bit above what I can afford, but Every collector needs things to dream about... :)
If you ever go to Germany, try attending one of Stephan's cutting seminars. He always brings some of his work along for the participants to use.

Interesting construction of the chappe. I wonder if that's a documented historical technique.

Oh, it just happens that me too actually ;)
His work is very, very good. And he's a very nice person, to add to that.

15th C. German XVIIIb's are truly the stuff dreams are made of. Especially at this calibre of craftsmanship.
The lines, proportions, and details are precisely what I would expect to see from Peter Johnsson or Patrick Barta (I mean that as the highest form of compliment)!
Steffan's work is calling me lol! I love his longswords. The leather work I have seen of his is astounding. Does anyone else have experience with his swords?
Roth is not just a blacksmith. He's also a swordsman.
After visiting his website, I found that Roth also created a knife for a museum in Liechtenstein.

Apparently, he can also model a comission in 3D simulation...
Fascinating stuff. I will be following his work very closely...
Oh, and he makes his own steel.
I recently messaged Mr. Roth about a longsword. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
