First of all I don't even know the writer (yet, I can't wait to do so) so I'm not advertising him.
This is the first book on this topic in english.
The author has cataloged around 400 swords, sorted them by oakshott, added a few new types, came up with 3 families of local swords.
Also, he has written about the so called serbia/slavic-sword, ancestor of the schiavone.
This book is definatly worth getting. I hope someone does so, as the book brings many topics for discussion.
