Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you have had any experiences with www.armae.com, particularly their gladii? It was mainly their prices, scabbards and the overall shape that caught my attention, but seeing as my interest in Roman arms and armor is as new as it possibly could be, I need some help with determining the historical accuracy and the quality of them. Any help is gladly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
Apparantly they're Deepeeka products. Does anyone know whether they're worth the money or not?
Ave!
Most of Armae's products are manufactured by Deepeeka in India. They vary in accuracy and quality, but are still pretty much the best mass-produced gladii available. You can find out a lot more about them on the Roman Army Talk board--there is a Deepeeka sub-section in the Marketplace.
