What were the titles people in charge of armouries?
Were there different names depending on whether the armoury might have been, for example, for a small village, particular household, or castle?
Did these names distinguish between someone in charge of armour and someone in charge of weapons?
No doubt these names changed throughout time and place. Specifically, I'm personally interested in late 15th C Germany, but am curious to hear of titles in other times and places also.
I'd love to know both their names in the original languages, and how these have been glossed in English.
Thanks!

This is an interesting question.. Wish I knew. Latin should have phased out by 15th century. In earlier times the term may have simply been Logista, in general for a military official with administrative function.
