We were invited by Dharma Buddhism Association ( http://www.dharma.org.hk ) to perform a demonstration on German longsword swordsmanship. It was probably the first public demonstration narrated in Chinese / Cantonese about this subject in the world. I, Unicorn Poh and Zachary Au Yeung showed the effectiveness of German style longsword fighting to 40 attendees.

That was great. I was looking at the length of the swords, the height of both young men and the low ceiling and thinking.'Someone is going to assume Von Tag and take out a sky light ' and as I was thinking that they both look at their swords and up at the ceiling.

I speak or understand not 1 word of Cantonese but it sounded a lot like the gentleman was explaining " This is actually lower than a normal low Roof guard would be held"

It's good to see some interest in the occidental martial arts in China after so many years of western fascination with all forms oriental.

One of them was Paul Chen practical hand and a half, and the other is windlass 15th century longsword that I further blunt myself with machinery.
