This is a perfect crusader sword. (At least by the looks...) And I love crusades... :)

Nice! I love the crusades era swords, especially with the cross potent designs. :)

Yeah, I will be buying that. Will this one be mostly through Albion Europe, or will that states site have it for sale as well?

What's the translation of the inscription on the hilt?

This sword looks very nice, especially as he's pulling it out of the scabbard in the trailer. Any chance of getting a full length shot?
Thanks,
Dan

From Constantine's revelation before the battle of Milvian Bridge that won him the Empire.
"In this sign, you shall conquer"
Although I Believe the literal translation of the latin on the actual sword is closer to "In this sign we conquer", which is actually the motto of my fraternity as well.
Edit:
Forget the second translation, to get "In this sign we conquer" the latin would be "in hoc signo vincamus". I think its best as "In this sign, you shall conquer" The sign being literally the symbol of the Cross.

Yes, for a movie sword this is quite nice. Is that bronze?

Thanks Peter,
I know I am preaching to the choir here but it would be so nice if other productions took such an approach in making movie swords. Simpler is usually better. No red jewels necessary. ;)

Will there be a new line for this like Albion Cinematic Line or something? Or will it be listed under One of the existing lines...

It looks like this sword might use the same blade as the Norman/Senlac? Am I seeing the correctly?

Hi,
The Arn sword will be a limited edition and will primarily be found on it's own website (www.arn-swords.com)- but also in an upcomming filmswords-europe site (sometime 2008). And it will be liked to from the regular AE page.
To Mike:
It's actually the Gaddhjalt blade that was used for the Arn sword.
To Jonathan:
About distribution in the US - contact Mike at Albion US and we will work something out :-)
Thanks,
Søren
