Has anyone purchased and read the 2 volume set of books by David Nicolle on Crusading Warfare? The first volume is entitled: Crusader Warfare: Byzantium, Western Europe and the Struggle for the Holy Land 1050-1300 AD ISBN-10: 1847250300 published in July 2007 by Hambledon & London. Second volume is titled: Crusader Warfare: Muslims, Mongols and the Struggle Against the Crusades 1050-1300 AD. Are these new volumes or retreads of his earlier works? Any illustrations, photos, etc. Any reviews of these books would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
