I was wondering if anyone had some news on the new A&A trainers that were briefly discussed in the WMAW 2006 feature article? Here is the link
Also if anyone has any of the trainers, especially the two handed trainer, I would like to hear your impressions.

Are you talking about the Portugese trainers he made for Steve Hick, or his other stuff? I haven't seen the former, but am the biggest fan in the world of his Fechterspiel training swords (there's already an excellent review of the Fechterspiel, Fechtbuch sword and the Italian longsword on here).
I have one of the big two handers. It isn't part of their line up yet, as those were prototypes (and each of them was very slightly different in their own way). I brought one of them home with me after WMAW, and I love it. It's the same quality as the fechterspiel, only bigger. :) Handles wonderfully, especially for it's size. Craig roughly based the handling of them off of an original Portugese two-hander from what I understand.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant the prototype trainers not the current line.
Yes, I meant the Portugese trainers, they look menacing and seem to be the only two-handers for training on the market (well, not yet). The WMAW article also mentioned a prototype smallsword and rapier, did anyone handle them?
Anyway, I was just curious about the prototypes and interested in when they may be going into production.
Thanks for the responses so far,
-James

Thanks Bill for the link, I don't know how I missed that. Those two-handers are nice, I can't wait until they are in production. I wonder if they have any plans for a practice messer. I like the look of the spada da lato, it looks pretty nice.
Bill, I was wondering if you had a full length shot of the two-hander?
Anyway, thanks for the info!

Afraid not, my camera currently isn't working. But just imagine the fechterspiel on steroids and you'll get the idea. :)
