I know this is an older topic, but....

I got to handle these babies at the gathering in Columbus last weekend. Joe has quite a collection. The Regent was stunning; I don't think any of us wanted to put it down for long. It is so well-balanced and well-executed. The Redeemer has amazing hilt and scabbard work. The pictures don't do it justice. His two A&A's were really nice too.

What a beautiful set o' swords you have there. They're all very nice.

Am I allowed to ask for more pics of the Regent??? :D

Well, I am not Joe ;), but here are a couple of shots I made this weekend.

I'll make more pictures when I receive the matching scabbard.

Size comparision with Clontarf and Riding sword
The Regent was, by far, the most impressive production sword I've ever handled. The level of finish and detail was astounding. It handled and felt like a sword that weighed much less.

I was really impressed by it.
Not sure if everyone would agree, but I think the first thing that reaches out and grabs people about the Regent is its size. It is a large sword and its feel does not mesh with what people expect from somthing so large.
Thank you for the eye candy. All of the swords you showed were breathtaking, although I have to join with the majority and say that the Regent is my favorite. It will be my next real sword (which unfortunately means no new swords for a long time). But it's so beautiful.

I'd have to agree with you on this one.
Yes, the Regent is a very impressive sword, and the best handling sword of this size/weight I had ever the pleasure to handle. It is hard to believe that this sword weighs 3 lbs 8 oz, when you hold it. It is very hard to put this wonderful sword down, it feels so good in the hand. And it makes a very nice deep sound when swinging it. ;)
