Dear friends,
This is really sad news. One of the students of Ms. Etezadi who travelled to Zanjan to interview Mr. Farajian on my behalf and take pictures of his new work for my further articles, has informed me in a very sad email, that Mr. Farajian had passed away yesterday. This is really sad news as he was not only a smith and an artis, but a man deeply interested in philosophy and poetry. This is really heart breaking.

Some of these pieces are simply breathtaking. What craftsmen! My respect for Middle Eastern swords has been growing with all I have seen on this sight, but some of these are just incredible. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Randall,
Thank you very much for your kind words. I am really sad about this. We are all sad. We have been planinng many things with him, he wanted to present a very nice piece in the Handicraft Competition soon. That piece will never be finished. Very sad. His character was above all a very nice and gentle one. This is a major loss indeed.

Wow what incredibly beautiful work, in Bronze as well as Steel. I am both amazed and saddened. My condolences to his family, to the world for losing this gifted artisan.

Hard to say much more than what has already been said: The artwork is incredible.
Also my condolences to the family but it is a good thing to have left a legacy of beautiful weapons that will continue to be prized and admired for a long time to come as well as having transmitted the skills to his son and students: Maybe a small comfort but a comfort all the same. :(
